The composer Nick Glowna was born in Munich 1961.He started taking lessons in guitar
and piano at the age of six.
At the age of fourteen he started with arrangement and composition.
From 1980-1985 he studied composition and filmscoring at the Berklee College of Music in
Boston /U.S.A. and simultaneously took courses in conducting at the Boston Conservatory.
In 1986 he returned to Germany and since then has worked as a composer on numerous
films for TV, feature films and TV series.
PRIZES:
1992 Rolf-Hans-Müller Prize (for best newcomming composer)
1999 Deutscher Fernsehpreis (best TV score)
Teaching activities:
Guest professor at the Filmakademie Ludwigsburg and at the University of Mainz
